Job Description

My Client are in Leisure + Fitness is looking for IT Technical Manager with ideal interest in Leisure. Must have strong IT experience.

This role suits an individual in a similar role or someone looking to step up into a higher position.

Our client is an innovative fitness brand that requires a skilled Tech + Systems Manager that can help support the success of both the in-studio rollout plan and the growth of the Online product. Ideal candidates MUST be ambitious with the aim to want to grow into a Head of Tech role, and you are looking to manage the day-to-day technology infrastructure of the brand.

The role is extremely varied switching between project managing website updates and new systems development, to troubleshooting technical issues, always with the customer at heart.

Key areas:

Systems Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with external platform providers, and control billing and invoicing processes
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Training team members on any new updates to functionality and problem solving

Website Maintenance and Improvements

  • Maintenance of DNS records
  • Physical Boking system experience or Booking system
  • Management of Web hosting / SSL certificates + domain names
  • Management of Send Grid / bulk e-mail sends.
  • Ability to add tracking to the data layer working to Media Agency briefs.
  • Management of ‘Event’ tracking on the CRM software. (linking campaigns to specific tracking metrics)
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript
  • Basic front-end (WordPress) developer skills are a bonus.

Studio/Customer Support

  • Provide an escalated level of support to the customer experience, marketing, and operational teams, including additional troubleshooting and analysis of customer queries relating to tech, communicating directly with clients where required
  • Manage and develop the internal support documents for all the systems,
  • Provide initial troubleshooting for Head Office and Studios for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all network-related infrastructure
  • New user setup for desktop/laptops in Windows 10 and MAC OS environments
  • Maintaining and monitoring the IT budget
  • Ensure all statutory compliances are being met in regard to Data Protection (GDPR) across the business
